What does a Vedic transit calculator show?
A Vedic transit, or Gochara, places the moving Navagraha in the sidereal zodiac for a selected instant and counts each position from the natal Lagna and natal Moon. This calculator also identifies transit grahas sharing a rashi with natal grahas and full Parashari Graha Drishti to natal positions. It reports chart relationships without predicting outcomes.
From natal Moon
Classical Gochara uses the natal Moon sign as a primary reference. The count is inclusive, so a transit in the natal Moon sign is the first position from the Moon.
From natal Lagna
The same transit rashi is also placed in the natal whole-sign house from Lagna, keeping the Moon and Lagna reference frames separate and explicit.
Transit relationships
Same-rashi contacts and full Parashari Graha Drishti are calculated from each transit graha to natal grahas. The result does not assign favorable or unfavorable effects.
