Who Is Responsible
SUPAMAKERS LIMITED is the controller of personal data used by Samvat. It is registered in England and Wales under company number 14757784 at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

Data Samvat Uses
You can use the free calendar and calculators without an account. Birth details entered into a free calculator are kept in that browser's local storage so the form can be restored; they are not added to a Samvat account unless you choose to save a family profile.
When you create an account, Samvat receives your Firebase account identifier and available sign-in details such as phone number, email address, display name, and profile photo. A saved family profile can include a name, relationship, birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, timezone, and selected calculation tradition.
For purchases, Samvat records the product, amount, currency, payment status, Stripe transaction references, and resulting report entitlement. Stripe processes payment credentials; Samvat does not store card, bank-account, or UPI credentials.
A paid report uses the selected profile and calculated chart evidence to create its written content. The resulting report and generation status are stored privately in your account. Plausible provides aggregate product analytics without receiving birth details in analytics events.
Why Data Is Used
Account, profile, purchase, and report data is used to provide the services you request and perform Samvat's contract with you. Payment and audit records are also used to meet legal and accounting duties.
Security, service reliability, fraud prevention, and privacy-friendly aggregate analytics are handled for Samvat's legitimate interests in operating and improving the service. Consent is used where you confirm authority to save another person's birth details or ask for immediate supply of digital content.
Service Providers and Transfers
Samvat uses Firebase for authentication, Convex for private application data and processing, Stripe for payments, Vercel for web hosting, OpenAI for paid-report text generation, and Plausible for aggregate analytics. These providers process only the data needed for their role under their own security and data-processing terms.
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where required, Samvat relies on recognised transfer safeguards, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
Retention and Security
Browser-only calculator details remain until you replace them or clear site data. Account profiles and reports are retained while needed to provide your account and until a valid deletion request is completed, subject to limited backup, security, dispute, and legal-record obligations.
Purchase and accounting records are kept for the period required by law. Samvat applies access controls and uses authenticated private storage, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
A profile for a child or another person should be saved only by someone with appropriate parental responsibility, consent, or other authority. Purchases must be made by an adult or with an adult's permission.
Samvat does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. Generated reports are calculation-based informational content, not professional or outcome advice. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if a privacy concern is not resolved.
